This razor is definitely heavy duty and very professional feeling. My husband was excited about it because it reminded him of the razors sold years ago. He's been using disposable razors for a while now and they just don't get the job done the same way.

First of all, I really like the elegant packaging for the razor and it comes with 2 wrapped blades; that makes it a good candidate for gift giving. Secondly, the razor is very sturdy and has a good weight to it. My husband has used heavy duty razors in the past, so he was familiar with its use. As you already know, razor blades are pretty serious and can cause damage if you are careless. If this is your first time using a "real" razor, please use caution. Start your shave very tentatively, until you get a good feel for the razor as you pull it across your face. Also get a feel for the correct angle that maximizes the hair removal. My husband is happy with the quality of shave, while I enjoy the feel of his face using this double edge safety razor!
