Review of TriNova Pet Stain & Odor Remover Eliminator

Because it's so important to use a product with enzymes to tackle organic matter, I was thrilled to try out this odor remover! I feel confident that this stain and odor remover works very well! I sprayed it directly on a urine stain, without cleaning it first. I've heard of some of the enzyme cleaners that do not work well after the area has been cleaned. This cleaner is supposed to work on old as well as new odors and stains. So, I waited the recommended 5 minutes and blotted the area clean. The stain was completely gone, as well as the odor.

My little Shih-Tzu, bless his heart, tends to lift his leg in the house on occasion and I will see yellow pee-pee stains at the corners of the couch or in areas where we may have left a box after a delivery. I have had to clean spots left in the carpet in our family room and I never felt like I had sanitized the area, before now. Obviously, I did not want the carpet to get smelly either. This cleaner has a very pleasant scent and absolutely works with minimal effort on my part!

The only problem I have with this product is that I don't know the ingredients contained. The manufacturer states that the pet cleaner contains a "blend of natural enzymes, surfactants, and fragrance" and that the ingredients are proprietary. I am concerned about the chemicals I use in my home and mostly use natural products. Even though the description states that the formula leaves surfaces safe for the children to keep on playing without any worry about harmful chemicals or toxins, I'm still concerned. There are those times, however, when I feel it necessary to use a chemical or two if I have to and will use this product in those instances, but sparingly. This cleaner removes unsightly marks and odors from organic matter such as vomit, feces and urine.

My ceramic tile floor gives off a weird smell, almost like urine, after I mop it, or even steam it. I figured the odor had to come from the grout, so I sprayed this odor eliminator in those areas and let it sit for 5 minutes. I then mopped the floor and it smelled wonderful! If the odors come back, I will definitely come back to give an update.
